COMMIT TO BLISS DAY 8 (29.01.2018)
Here we go awesome people, still careening along on this journey we call life and our two weeks of Commit to Bliss. Congratulations for turning up today – that in itself is a win so remember to give yourself a pat on the back! Here’s my Commit to Bliss class on offer for you today with some beautiful heart openers to stay you wide open to all the universe has on offer.
One way I really love to deepen my connection with nature is to stand barefoot on the earth or the grass, it could even be the natural wooden floor of your home or office – a little trickier in winter of course but if you have a chance to feel the planet under your hands or feet today then go for it. If it’s warm enough, take your shoes off, step your feet wide into horse stance, close your eyes and connect with your breath, imagining the flow of your breath moving gently as though it stems from your hands. Then slowly guide your hands in the space around you, pushing energy away, pulling energy towards you and almost feeling a tingling aliveness in the centre of your palms as you move and breath with synchronicity.
Today is a great to day to play the ‘gratitude game’ spending the day trying to notice things you would not normally bother to feel grateful for. It could be as simple as the good morning from your colleagues as you arrive in the office or the smile on the face of the barrister as you take your morning coffee. One of my favourites is to look up at the sky as I ride my bike to work and feel grateful that it is watching over me.
And finally today, see if you can take a few moments to hand write a note or card to a friend or loved one and send it off in the post. (Top tip: if going to the post office for a stamp feels like a chore, see if you can buy a stamp on your mobile phone or ask the post people at your office to stamp it for you and give them the money).
And of course remember to feed yourself well with new recipes on The Blissologist’s Guide to a High Pranameter. Have an amazing day!!!!
